As of 2013 Polmak Sondaj is in the possession of two exploration licences in the Şanliurfa Province of Southeastern Turkey.
In 2013 Polmak Sondaj is planning to utilise its AR/PAS/4934 license and carry out an exploration project in the Akcakale area of Sanliurfa. |
Past Exploration Activities
Polmak Sondaj has carried out the following exploration projects in Turkey.
Polmak Sondaj's first exploration activities in Turkey were carried out in the IR/PAS/2694 in the Thrace Basin, Marmara District I. The Kandamis 3 exploration well was abandoned as a gas show well in the Kandamis structure. For more information regarding the Kandamis 3 well please click here.
Polmak Sondaj utilized its AR/PAS/2910 license in the Gaziantep District XII. The well site was located between Gaziantep and Kilis, near the Kazikli village. The well resulted in the finding of heavy oil. For more information regarding the I.R.Berent 1 well please click here.
The Polmak I.R. Berent 2 well was drilled in the XII Gaziantep District in the AR/PAS/4251 license area 5 km SE of the village of ????. This well was abandoned as an oil show well in 2009. For more information regarding the I.R. Berent 2 well please click here.
